Integrative Child Psychotherapy

Integrative Child Psychotherapy is a supportive, and effective way of working with children to help them with the things that are troubling them through the use of arts, play, and the relationship with the therapist, in a safe and confidential space.

The use of the arts, play, storytelling, puppetry and Sand play in sessions gives children a natural and safe way of communicating and processing their feelings, for which they often do not have words for. The sensory nature of arts and play mediums also helps children to develop their ability to self-regulate.

The aim of sessions is to help children to process and organise their feelings so that they are able to manage them more effectively – and so that they cause less pain to the self and society.

Integrative Child Psychotherapy can be helpful for a variety of issues that can affect a child's well being.
